In Chinese 众议员代表谁?

  • Citizens in their (congressional) district其(国会)选区内的公民
  • Citizens in their district其选区内的公民
  • People from their (congressional) district来自其(国会)选区的人民
  • People in their district其选区内的人民

Why this is the answer

Each state is divided into congressional districts, and each district elects one member of the House of Representatives. That representative's job is to speak for the people who live in their district. This is why the House is often called the chamber closest to the people: a representative serves a smaller local area, while a senator represents the whole state.
