What does the President’s Cabinet do?

Why this is the answer

The Cabinet is a group made up of the heads of the major executive departments, plus a few other top officials. Its job is to advise the President. Each member leads an area such as defense, money, or foreign affairs and gives the President expert advice. The Cabinet does not make laws; it helps the President run the executive branch.
