Why this is the answer

At the naturalization ceremony, new citizens take the Oath of Allegiance. In it they promise to give up loyalty to other countries, support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States, be loyal to the United States, and, if the law requires, serve in the military or do important work for the nation. You need to name any two of these promises, which you will say yourself on the day you become a citizen.
