In Chinese 所有 18 至 25 岁的男性都应进行义务兵役登记（Selective Service）。说出一个原因。
Official answers
- Required by law法律要求
- Civic duty公民义务
- Makes the draft fair, if needed（如有需要）使征兵公平
Any one of these answers is accepted unless the question asks for more than one.
Why this is the answer
The Selective Service System keeps a list of men who could be called to serve if the country ever needs a military draft. Men age 18 through 25 are required by law to register, and doing so is also a civic duty. Having everyone registered means that, if a draft is needed, it can be carried out fairly. Any one of these reasons is correct.
