Why this is the answer
Four amendments expanded who can vote. The 15th Amendment (1870) says voting cannot be denied because of race, so a male citizen of any race can vote. The 19th Amendment (1920) gave women the right to vote. The 24th Amendment (1964) banned poll taxes in federal elections, and the 26th Amendment (1971) lowered the voting age to 18. Describing any one of these is correct.
