Answers change; check your state

The correct answer depends on where you live and on who holds the office on the day of your interview. Elections, appointments and resignations change it, so check again shortly before you go.

Current answers

House districts depend on your street address. Look up your representative (or, in a territory, your Delegate or Resident Commissioner) with the official ZIP-code tool:

Find your representative on house.gov ↗

Why this is the answer

Your U.S. Representative is the member of the House elected from your congressional district, so the answer depends on where you live and can change after elections or redistricting. Give the name of the person serving on your interview day; you can look it up by address on house.gov. Residents of territories may name their nonvoting Delegate or Resident Commissioner, or say the territory has no voting Representative.
