What is the purpose of the 10th Amendment?

In Chinese 第十修正案的目的是什么?

Official answer

  • (It states that the) powers not given to the federal government belong to the states or to the people.(它规定)未授予联邦政府的权力属于各州或人民。

Why this is the answer

The 10th Amendment is the last amendment in the Bill of Rights. It says that powers the Constitution does not give to the federal government, and does not forbid to the states, are reserved to the states or to the people. It reflects federalism, the sharing of power between the national government and the states, and reminds us that the federal government has limited powers.
